Disproportionate Response. Haiti - The US has sent supplies and personnel, Britain sent 64 firemen and 8 volunteers, France sent troops for Search and Rescue. Many large and wealthy nations of the world sent money. The Arab and Moslem world nothing. Israel, a nation of 7.5 million people has sent a team of 220 people that include Medical personnel and will establish the largest field hospital in Haiti, treating up to 5000 people a day, an experienced Search and Rescue team and medical supplies.

Hi ALP. I don\'t think the Talmud would have anything to say on the subject. It\'s not a newspaper or TV prog, just a commentary on the Torah, and we all know what that says about killing. Re the will of G-D - believe what you like but for goodness sake don\'t inflict the consequences of that belief on anyone else. For a start, to say that G-D even has a will is a misleading anthropomorphism. It\'s only a short step to deciding which football team he supports (Arsenal, as it happens).

TALMUD WOULD CONDEMN THE DETROIT AIRLINE TERRORISM... Would the Quran approve of it, even encourage it as jihad? If not, why have there been no Muslim posters condemning it or looking for steps to prevent it?... Is anyone thinking of the children on the plane? Muslims are constantly posting about Israel killing children (albeit in defensive activities.)... Who is doing evil - those who follow Talmud or those who follow Quran?

Greetings, Dave - it\'s been awhile. I am actually struggling with religion, having come to it quite late in life...I would like to know whether you believe that if we think we know the will of God, we are evil, as opposed to just misguided? (I am not referring to any attempt to force on others what we think we know, although I suppose that some people think they have knowledge that God demands this.) I just don\'t like to think that being sincerely misguided is evil......Thanks, Anita
